The SheCodess camp was held at Crittenden Middle school in October. We had 25 participating girls that were extremely excited and they all learned to code. We had a special guest speaker, Serpil Bayraktar from Cisco, that talked to the girls about being a women in technology and how learning technology can be beneficial in any industry - even in a tour guide's job!
The girls learned how to make their own mobile applications and even pitched their ideas infront of guest judges in "shark-tank style"

Team Snails with Happy Faces created an application in which you could scan a food product to find the ingredients. That way, it would be easy for people with allergies to determine what they can eat.

Team Thor's Hammer created an application that will help save energy. The light alert app will inform people when unnecessary lights and switches are turned on.

Team Roman noodle created a secret online dairy application!
